The Miracle of King’s College

If there is one building that says Cambridge, it’s King's College Chapel. But it’s more than just a building; it's a portal into some of the craziest times in English History.

Started by Henry VI, who thought he'd finish the chapel in 11 years, it was completed by Henry VIII, five kings and 100 years later - which is something of a miracle.

During this 90 minute tour you’ll discover:

  • How one stone keeps the entire roof up

  • Henry VIII’s love letter to Anne Boleyn

  • A painting that almost bankrupted the college

  • The most famous bridge in China

Please note that King's College will require you to buy an entry ticket in addition to the tour fee. For more information click the King's Admission button.

Cambridge Highlights

Want to do all the tours, but only have an hour and a half?

Then this is the one for you.

From the stink of the 13th century market, we’ll:

  • Follow the aftermath of a murder that created a university

  • Discover a car, parked on top of a building

  • Meet a man who was burned at the stake, 6 years after he died of natural causes

  • Discover 'the man who spoke to walls'.

All those wonderful stories of Cambridge are served up with some pretty cool architecture, along a street about a mile long.
